October 7th, 2007 Blessing of the Animals

We will be at the First United Methodist Church in McKenzie for the Blessing of the Animals. Bring your critters large and small so that they may get Blessed. The service will begin at 4pm hope to see you there. For more information contact the shelter at 352-9950 please leave a clear message. Update Pastor Scott Alford gave a wonderful sermon and blessing. Neil Nord honored us with his singing talents and was accompanied by Sandy McMahon on piano. The animals received $562.00 in donations. The Carroll County Humane Society wants to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to all involved.

October 20th, 2007 Harmony Hills Fall Festivale

Come joins us at Harmony Hills Huntingdon for the annual Fall Festivale. We will be there from 10am - 2pm with several puppies and adult dogs available for adoption. There will be entertainment, cake walk, and games. Come join the fun. If you are interested in helping with the adoption show, please contact the shelter at 352-9950.

October 27th, 2007 Halloween Party.

Joins us for a spooktacular time. Food, games, prizes, and more. Come in costume for a chance to win one of the many costume contests. The Door prize this year is a Flat Screen TV with DVD player. Must be present to win. We will need ALOT of help for this fund raiser. It takes one day to setup and another to clean-up. If you are interested in helping contact the shelter at 352-9950.

November 10th Breakfast

Join the CCHS for Sausage gravey, Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Biscuits, Pancakes and all the trimings. We will be at the Carroll Bank and Trust Activity Bldg in Huntingdon. Hours 7am till 11. If you would like to help contact the shelter at 352-9950
